Revolved Triangle Pose

The Revolved Triangle Pose, or Parivrtta Trikonasana, is a dynamic yoga posture that combines strength, balance, and spinal rotation. To achieve this pose, start in a standing position at the top of your mat. Step one foot back, creating a wide stance, and turn your back foot at a 45-degree angle. With your front leg straight, hinge at your hips to reach forward with the opposite arm, placing your hand on the ground, block, or shin beside the front foot. As you do this, simultaneously extend your other arm toward the sky, creating a straight line from your grounded hand to the raised hand. Your torso should be rotating, with the chest facing outward. Maintain a steady gaze towards the raised hand or beyond. This pose engages the core, strengthens the legs, opens the chest, and releases tension along the spine. As you hold the pose, focus on deep and steady breathing, allowing your body to settle into the twist and stretch. Remember to practice mindfully and listen to your body, making any adjustments necessary for your comfort and alignment.
